Rogue seller
Almost two weeks ago l won an auction, paid immediately, and had a message from the seller that they would send my items "tomorrow". After a few days l checked the tracking number (the order was being sent using Simple Delivery) and it showed they hadn't downloaded the label until 3 days after l paid. OK - l waited - but after a week had passed l sent a polite message asking when they would be mailing my order, and had a reply saying sorry and that they would post my items "tomorrow" (again!). That was 5 days ago and they still have not posted my order, the tracking still shows Evri have not yet been given the package, and l believe the Simple Delivery label will have expired by now. l REALLY wanted the items l bought, otherwise l would not be so annoyed about this.
Apart from leaving negative feedback and asking Ebay to step in and refund me, is there any action l can take to get this seller barred? They currently have a feedback rating of just 2, one of which was automatically generated by Ebay. I have never encountered anything like this before and don't want any other buyers to have the same problem.

Mentor6 months agoBefore you can ask ebay to step in, you have to open a NOT RECEIVED CASE, then if no refund from seller after 3 days THEN YOU CAN ESCALATE to ebay.
Unless you do this the correct way you will not get a refund through ebay, and would have to ask your payment provider for help.
As a new seller, he will get a late dispatch defect, and a case opened, with very few feedback he will have a very bad start to selling, which will be picked up by ebay, as they expect no more than 2 defects per 100 sales.

Leaving a well worded negative feedback will serve as a warning to other buyers and, if they've only two feedback, will lower their feedback percentage considerably.
