Ridiculous adverstising
Summary: 8033shirleyg expresses frustration with a commercial company that advertises its entire stock item by item. They are specifically looking for used paving stones but find the current advertising method inefficient, as it requires them to go through numerous ads from the same vendor. They suggest that a separate system could improve the browsing experience by consolidating inventory listings.
Why do certain commercial companys advertise their entire stock item by item.
For instance I am looking to buy some used paving stones . 10 miles for me there is a yorks stone reclamation place. I dont want york stone from them as it is over priced. However, I have to trawl through ever single paving stone they have. Every advert for at least 12 pages is the same company and in some cases the same bloody items . Could there not be a system where you go to a spererate page to go through their stock.

Where sellers have multiple similar items for sale this can sometimes be dealt with by a single, multiple choice listing. However, if this seller is selling unique, one-off stone offcuts that require individual description it's hard to see how they could avoid listing them separately.
