Returns - speaking to a human being in eBay...
Summary: artemisiaabsinthe is frustrated with eBay's returns process after purchasing dinner plates that arrived damaged. Despite the seller not wanting the items back, eBay is requiring them to print a return label and return the goods, which they find wasteful. They have struggled to get support from eBay's AI and contact center. papso22 suggests that the seller could facilitate a refund through the case, indicating that the seller is being uncooperative.
I have purchased some dinner plates on eBay US. They have all arrived damaged.
I have spoken to the seller - who does not want them back (as they are broken).
However - eBay is insisting that I 'Print Return Label' to return the damaged goods. Such a waste of time and money.
I have been completely unable to try and get any support on this from eBay artificial intelligence. I am unable to speak to anybody online as 'Contact Centre unavailable' and also unable to speak to a human being.
Any ideas ?????
Exasperating or what.......
