Returns collected from my home
I do not have a printer. When returning an item, Royal Mail will pick up from my home but need a request to bring a label. I cannot find a link to order that on eBay. Royal Mail will not accept the request for the label from me unless I have organised the return with them direct, not when I have done it via EBay. They will not scan a QR code either when collecting from my home. Help?

Mentor2 weeks agoeBay returns don't have a service whereby they pick it up from your home address, you need to take the item and the QR code to your local Post Office, where they print the label.
If you're unable to do this you can buy your own label from the RM website and have the item collected, but will need to add the new tracking number to the return details.

OP2 weeks agoI thought that is the case. Though they do offer a pick up from home Royal Mail option . I guess that is if I have a printer. Thank you for taking the time to get back to me on this. 🙂

Mentor2 weeks agoIf you buy your own label from the Royal Mail website you add the collection from home service and, if you want, they can bring a printed label along too (I've used this service a few times, I think it costs an extra 30p on top of the postage price).

OP2 weeks agoThank you, i don’t think I have tried that link . How will they be able to print the return label if it is on EBay but I do not have a printer so cannot see the return address? I will give it a go, though. In this case, no QR code is given. I phoned Ebay to ask for one. I think I have to return to the post office where they can print the label. Does anyone know if EBay has a link to Royal Mail when they offer a pick up from home service but you have no printer?
