Hiya

I have a return request as the item is damaged it was a ps3 battery brand new.

Buyer says looks lightly bulged but it's not its fine.

However I accepted as I would have been made to anyway (it was 99p) btw

Anyway return label sent and item returned

Once I click refund will it hurt my seller metrics

I'm a day away from being above standard again - back story

I listed one item but put 5 as quantity by mistake

They all sold over night so had to cancell 4 orders (I was a baby in ebay terms)

With only 83 transactions

I needed to hit 250 so basically 173 more transactions without issues to take me below the 2% and ive just hit that target

Any advice would be great

As long as you refund voluntarily, this return won't affect your seller metrics.

For a low cost item, it probably wasn't worth getting it back.

You can choose to refund without getting the item returned.

You don't have any choice about refund.

If you don't do it within 3 days of getting item back, ebay can force it which means you get defect.
