Returning Payment to a Non-Responsive Buyer
Hi everyone,
I recently sold an item on April 10th, and the buyer hasn’t responded to any of my messages since then. I’m considering returning the payment, but I’m not sure of the best way to go about it given the lack of communication. Has anyone faced a similar situation? How did you handle it?
What steps would you recommend in this scenario to ensure everything proceeds smoothly and fairly? Looking forward to hearing your experiences and advice!

Mentor3 weeks agoWell over 90 days, so without cooperation of buyer very difficult to refund.
You should not have left it so long and ought to be aware of time restrictions for refunds.
Buyer could be ill or even died, have you looked at feedback to see if any recent activity.

Mentor3 weeks agoI'd be inclined to just leave it be, if the buyer won't communicate you can't discuss a way to refund them (it'll have to be outside of eBay, via PayPal or bank transfer).
May I ask the amount?

Mentor3 weeks agoIt's too late to cancel the transaction but you can still issue a refund via the dropdown menu arrow for the item on your orders list.
