RETURNING ITEM AFTER 8 MONTHS

Do I have any chance to query or return a car part item purchased in October 2025?.

I purchased a glove box as my old one would not stay shut. All was going fine with the one I purchased on eBay until a few weeks ago. This too continues not to stay shut and springs open all the time, especially when driving.

Do I have any statutory rights regarding my faulty item in either getting a replacement or returning the item?.

Unless seller was a business seller, you probably have no rights at all.

If a business seller contact Citizens Advice to see if they can help.

You will have to research statutory rights yourself. You are too late for ebay to do anything.
