Returning a faulty item purchased as guest
Hi, I bought my husband an expensive Xmas present. Unfortunately it doesn't work. The seller is fine about returning but says I need to initiate the return process through eBay (which is fair enough). Here's where it gets complicated, I bought it in a rush so completed checkout as a guest as couldn't remember my password, I then also managed to delete the email order confirmation (as well as clear it from my bin as my account was at capacity and I had to make room). It was an intentional mistake. I have the item link, the transaction details on my account and obviously the seller and eBay will have my address details etc, there's no denying that I purchased it, but how do I initiate the refund?
