returning a counterfeit product after I have part used one of the items (oral b heads)
I purchased 8 oral b heads new in packaging. I started to use one of the heads and then realised it felt wierd, vibrated more than usual. I then checked the packing and head and realised their were tell tale signs it was fake, bad printing on packaging, faded logo on item slight different proportions.
My question is will I still get a refund even if I partially used one the the eight heads and opened the packaging? I had no idea they were fake until I used one of the items.
thank you.

OP10 months agoThank you both. I have since spoken to eBay and they have assured me that as the items are counterfeit I can send them back for a full refund.

Mentor10 months agoIt would seem unreasonable for a seller of fakes to try to reduce a refund. How can you tell before opening and using that there us something not right.
Just open a not as described case, get return label and see what happens. You would still have the option of leaving bad feedback.
Seller might just refund to save cost of return postage, for something that is unsaleable

·10 months agoItems should be returned in the same condition as they were when received.
If you bought from a business seller, some business sellers can make deductions of up to 50% if items have been used.
So, you may not get all of your money back.
Two points worth adding:
The person you bought from has sold 1080 packs of 8 toothbrush heads from a private account. Private accounts are for selling your own personal posessions. Choose a properly registered business account.
The item you bought is known for being faked. Buy from Boots or Tesco!
