returning a block item
I bought a pair of jeans on Ebay which are smaller than advertised. I requested a return but the seller blocked my request. I now realise the jeans had blocked returns status. I have contacted the seller and they have now agreed to the return. However I now cannot raise a return as it my initial request was blocked and the seller says there's nothing they can do to unblock the rquest for the return. I've tried Ebay help but just go round in circles. Any ideas?

Mentor4 months agoI am not aware of any way that sellers can block a return if you open a case for "not as described" and use the reason "not in accordance with listing". I am assuming that the size advertised was not what was delivered.
All sellers must accept "not as described" cases but if they do not accept returns for other reasons and you use "does not fit" then that counts as "change of mind" and can be refused.
eBay only allows one case so if you have used that [albeit incorrectly] you get no second chance.
You may be able to get a refund through your payment provider.
