returned incorrect item seller promises refund no refund weeks later please advise
Summary: nag-1 is facing an issue with a seller after purchasing an incorrect item. Although the seller initially arranged for the item's return, they have not issued a promised refund despite multiple communications. Attempts to involve eBay in resolving the issue have been unsuccessful due to the return not being formally recorded in eBay's system.
Bought an item it arrived not being the correct item . I messaged seller they picked it back up by their courier . I didn’t use the return option as the seller sorted it . Now after many messages and a few weeks of them promising a refund I still not received one . Thought yesterday I would try to action a return so I could get eBay to step in but seller rejected it . I don’t seem to be able to get eBay to step in as I contacted the buyer through eBay messages therefore did not action this return request

Mentor1 month agoIf it's beyond 30 days ebay won't help anyway. Try contacting your payment provider and ask them about a refund or chargeback.
