Returned but ..
Summary: c0nd0n is seeking advice after Royal Mail returned an item they sold using an eBay postage label. The buyer's address was correct, and the buyer still wants the item. c0nd0n had to pay £7 to retrieve the parcel and is uncertain about covering the cost of a new postage label since the original one has expired. They are asking for guidance on obtaining a replacement label or whether eBay will cover the additional postage cost.
Looking for some help.
I sold an item and purchased a Royal Mail Tracked postage label through eBay. I posted the item, but Royal Mail returned it to me. The buyer’s address is exactly the same as the address on the original eBay order and the buyer still wants the item. I have already had to pay £7 to Royal Mail to retrieve the returned parcel. The original eBay postage label has now expired. I don’t think I should have to pay a second postage charge when the original postage was already paid. How do I arrange . replacement postage label or advise how eBay will cover the additional postage?
