Return request
An item I’ve purchased has missing parts and not usable so I’ve requested a refund. Seller wants to collect and issue a refund. I’ve opened a return request to cover myself but seller is asking me to close the request and assures me he’ll refund in full. Am I doing the right thing not closing.

Mentor6 months agoYou are right. Some sellers will promise the earth and then you don't hear from them again. Escalate the case to ebay as soon as you can (after 3 complete working days) and you will receive a paid-for postage label to send it back. And ebay will enforce the refund after it's been sent back.

Mentor6 months agoYes, if you close the case you have no way of enforcing the refund.
If the seller is collecting tell them you will close the case once they have collected and you have the refund
if you don't continue with the eBay claim
