Return refund - postage to pay
I received an item which was not as described and want to return it. However, I have been asked to pay the return postage.
Why should I do this? The supplier sold me an item that was not as described. Grossly unfair.
Unable to get any sense from Ebay oin trying to contact someone to appeal this gross injustice

Mentor6 months agoIs the seller outside the UK? If so its hard to enforce payment of postage by them.

·6 months agoIf you chose the reason 'wrong size/doesn't fit' that is a change of mind return and you are liable to pay the return postage.
If the seller sent the wrong size or the item was not as described in the listing, you needed to choose 'not as described'.
If you want to discuss this with Ebay, go to 'contact us' at the bottom of the page.
If you put 'speak to an agent' you will eventually get the option to have a callback. You do have to go through that process and be persistent though.

Mentor6 months agoYou only pay return postage if you used a 'change of mind' return reason.
For example 'does not fit' is a change of mind.
