Return postage
Is it correct that in the UK when a buyer returns an item because it doesn’t fit, the seller has to refund the initial postal costs. This leaving the seller out of pocket.
This is what happened to me and eBay customer service say that it’s correct even though I was given the option to refuse the return.

Mentor10 months agoWith 678 live listings, nearly 200 of them new items, ebay can consider you a business seller & have to report private sellers who sell more than 30 items per year to HMRC.

Mentor10 months agoIf you have a No Returns policy on your listings, you can refuse a return for the reason ' Does Not Fit'.
If you do wish to accept the return, the buyer pays for the tracked return postage, and on the receipt of your item yes, you refund everything the buyer initially paid.

OP10 months agoleft out of pocket because the buyer ordered the wrong size. From now on I
will just reject the return request.
