Return large parcels that royalmail has refused in the past when ebay only offer a royalmail option..
Summary: dkirk99 is experiencing issues returning rod tubes through eBay, which only offers Royal Mail for returns. They mention that Royal Mail previously refused long items, but the items were originally delivered by another service, which is not offered for returns by eBay. john1297576 suggests bypassing eBay and directly contacting the delivery service that accepted the initial delivery.
I want to return rod tubes that are 6ft long as they were advertised as 6ft 6 in. The only option ebay offers is royalmail. In the past when I return long items via royalmail, they stayed in the sorting office and after 2 months I got a.message from royalmail saying they were too long for them so returned them.
They were delivered by evri so clearly evri will take them but ebay fo not offer a return by evri.
In typical ebay style, there seems to be no way to contact ebay ...any ideas anyone ?
Thanks

Mentor1 week agoThere are ways to contact ebay, it's just difficult to get past AI. You have to be persistent. Or you could look for posts on this board where members have provided a link.
Ebay should then issue a label appropriate for the item.
