Return demanded with purchaser lying about the product.

Mentor7 months agoIf buyer is claiming Damaged in transit, then he should open a case, as ebay settles this sort of claim, not you the seller.
Unless it is an expensive item, it would be far better to sort out by buyer opening a return case and you dealing with it. Certainly do not refund or make an offer of a partial refund until returned.
The effort of returning could put them off.

Which item was it and what is the buyer saying is wrong?
More information would lead to better advice.
Have they started a return case through Ebay?
If they have, it's always best to respond through the case rather than getting into an exchange of messages, accept the return and supply a label.
Ebay won't see the item, and if the buyer is claiming it is faulty etc. Ebay will accept their word.

OP7 months agoIt's "Five Silver -Coloured Horses" (13-13949-94543) and she is claiming that 2 are the same and 3 are the same. It's very clear from my photo that that isn't true. She paid £1.78 so I'm clearly going to make a loss if I have to pay for the postage.

·7 months agoPersonally, I would just refund them and move on with my life.
If they open a case through Ebay, you can refund without needing a return.
If they paid the postage to Ebay and you used a Simple Delivery label, Ebay will refund that amount to them.
Also, and I know this is hard, I would apologise that they were disappointed with their purchase.
That may avoid negative feedback.

·7 months agoIf they paid you for the postage, and you bought the label from Evri, then you do have to refund that to the buyer.
