Return and refund
I ordered and received a solar fountain in September. It was broken in pieces inside the box. The seller said he would send me another one when they came back in stock. He has not done this and is ignoring my messages asking for a refund. I have tried to contact e bay for a resolution but the item is outside of the dispute time window . How do I get help?

Mentor8 months agoRead eBay's 30 day MBG Money Back Guarantee policy, it's written on every listing, and on the link below.
It can save you a lot of time and money when buying on eBay.

Ebay allow you 30 days to return a faulty item at the seller's expense.
So, never accept a replacement (or the promise of one) from a seller who has sent you a faulty/broken/dysfunctional item.
Open a return promptly.
Get a full refund.
Buy from a better seller.

I believe you have 60 days after purchase to leave feedback.

The user agreement warned you that eBay does not guarantee that sellers' descriptions will be truthful or accurate. Or the quality of items received - even that they will be safe or legal.
eBay does provide its own money back guarantee if an item is faulty or not as described when you receive it - there is a link to it in every listing. But it states clearly that claims must be made within 30 days.
Buying from strangers on eBay isn't like the shops. eBay is a jungle. If you don't read the conditions you accepted, don't be surprised if you get bitten.
