Hi
I’ve had my eBay account for not that long and I have quite a few restrictions on my account.
I’ve verified my details, set up my banking and yet i’m still being told i can’t bid on items, send offers or even sell. I can only buy items with buy now.
I’ve done nothing wrong, I have 100% reviews and i’m as kind as possible to any sellers I message on eBay.
I’ve tried getting in contact with eBay support, however it’s so heavily flooded with AI that i’m struggling to find how to resolve this.
Can anyone help me please.
Many thanks, Blondie

Hi bblondiebee, sorry to hear about this, but if you are having issues, in this circumstances we send you an email with a link to contact us, you can try using that link and contacting us from there. You can then request to talk to an agent in case you get through the automated chat, and from there you will be transferred to a real agent.
While we would love to assist further, restrictions and/or suspensions can only be handled through our customer service channels. Once you contact them, they will assist you and provide further instructions.
Hope this helps,
Marco

The link below will get you a call back from CS. Now depending on the restrictions will depend on how much CS will divulge. So don't expect a full answer, but they should be able to assist you if its something that hasn't been completed for example on setting up the account.

Mentor1 week agoYou've returned to selling after a bit of a break. eBay are always wary of sudden selling on a dormant account , as it could be a sign the account is being hijacked.
You say you have set up your banking details , has this been verified with micro deposits sent, and confirmed back to eBay?
If not, contact Customer Services ask them to send these micro deposits, ask is there anything else you need to do to verify you are the genuine account holder.
Contacting eBay Customer Services is not easy nowadays to get a live agent , but some have had success using the app, otherwise keep typing in ' I wish to speak to an agent' and this too can work.
Use this link to contact CS, if you can try at 8 a.m. on a weekday morning also more chance there for Dublin to answer.
