Restricted items I have bought before.
I have purchased some Agates and Thunder eggs from America from two different sellers. Part way through the journey eBay deemed these restricted before they reached DHL it's says the items have been returned to sender. But both items have not been returned. Ebay won't help till the end of the postings me or the sellers. I have bought both products before in the last few months fine. This time nope. The listings don't end until 27 October so I can't do anything till then. When I know I'm never going to receive the products. I'm at a loss what to do. Spoke to DHL it happened before it got onto their system so they can't help. Spoke to eBay like 10 times. All they say is raise a case but it's not the seller. It's eBay who has the products. Also I will have to wait a long time before even getting any ball rolling on a refund. Any suggestions would be great. Thank you in advance.

I think you may have misunderstood eBay's money back guarantee. If the listing is still running this often happens and is irrelevant.
You can open an "item not received" case s soon as the latest estimated delivery date has passed. This will be the estimated date that applied at the time of your order, not the date currently displayed for new orders.
