reporting fraudulent sellers on ebay is not working
I am trying to report a hacked account / fraudulent seller to ebay, and the service is unavailable, is anyone else having the same problem?

Mentor7 months agoDepends how you are reporting this, and if this is your account.
eBay cannot act on one message from a member declaring another seller is fraudulent, as this may be coming from a disgruntled customer or even a competitor.
eBay act on cases, if enough buyers do the right thing, that is open the relevant case for item not received / not as described, if too many returns / claims for refunds are made this is what raises red flags to eBay who'll investigate the seller, and place any selling sanctions even total bans from selling, whatever they see fit.
As said, if this is your account you fear is being hacked, come back and we'll tell you how to proceed.

Mentor7 months agoThey will when they receive those cases for item not received / not as described.
Buyers are fully protected for their refunds under eBay's 30 day MBG, and seller would be removed if this was flagged up as common practise.
BTW a friend of a friend, sold their cheating husband's real solid Gold Rolex online, for a tenner !
