Reporting a Buyer
Summary: surplustorequirements50 shared their frustrating experience with a buyer who claimed a pair of shoes never arrived, despite evidence of delivery and positive feedback. Recently, the buyer raised a second payment dispute using their financial institution. surplustorequirements50 noted the buyer is blocked from future purchases but struggled to report them due to the transaction's age. They sought advice on how to effectively report such unscrupulous behavior.
How do you report a dodgy buyer?
I sold a pair of Louboutin shoes brand new to a buyer way back in February. The shoes were sold, tracking shows they were received and the buyer left feedback. Transaction complete as far as I was concerned.
So exactly 91 days later in May the buyer raised a payment dispute saying the shoes never arrived. As it was over the 90 days she raised the claim with her financial institution. after they investigated it was found in my favour.
Lo and behold the silly woman has now raised a payment dispute again on the same item with her financial institution again saying shoes never arrived.
I know I am covered but its so blooming annoying that unscurpulous buyers do this sort of thing keep the item and get a refund. They are just total scammers and give ebay a bad name.
Anyway I dont as yet know the outcome of this new dispute but I did try to chat to an ebay agent and they inserted into the chat a link to the risk management team to report this person. The link doesnt work so just wondered how I can report this person. The only item I found online I cant report as the item is more than 90 days old. She is blocked so cant buy from me again but how dense and stupid is she to have left feedback then says they never arrived three months later.
