Removing an active listing
A few months ago, I listed an item for sale for pick-up only. I included an external link to the instruction manual in the listing but eBay gave me a policy violation. I tried to 'Resolve' the violation but nothing's happened and I'm not unable to appeal, revise or end the listing as the options are greyed out.
I since created a new listing and sold it but it's just annoying now that the item is listed as active and there's nothing I can do to remove it. Obviously, I can't speak to anyone at eBay and have been going round in circles with the AI chatbot.
Any ideas on how I can get it removed?

OP5 months agoAh, thanks for that.
The item is hidden from public view as it's under a policy violation, but I can see it, and it's annoying me 😂

Mentor5 months agoI seem to remember it cannot be removed.
Annoying that it is, it remains for around 90 days before disappearing !
Thankfully, ' For Your Eyes Only! 👀 '

Mentor5 months agoAs tressygirl says, it stays until it runs out of time. You can do nothing with it, relist edit etc.
Think it is just stays as a reminder. I doubt ebay would remove, as outside links are not allowed.

Mentor5 months agoI can only see your SanDisk and Batman book so it's not actively listed. If you want to contact eBay you can ask them to ring you here:
