Relisting
I am trying to relist an item but I am asked to add at least 4 photo's when there has only been 2 photo's in the past, here is a copy of what Ebay are asking 'Add at least 4 photos. You can add up to 24 photos and a 1-minute video. Buyers want to see all details and angles.' I don't understand as this message has'nt appeared on other listings

Mentor10 months agoThat is odd, you should be able to still list regardless of the number of pictures (although you do need one) 4 or more is usually ideal for the "bots" when positioning an item on ebay, and wonder if thats what it is.
as Tressy says let us know.
As an aside have we have an issue listing that when we upload the pictures at present it shows them on screen and says error, and in short wont let us list at all as we can't put pictures in to the listing. Thats using Chrome.

Mentor10 months agoStrange message , seems like a glitch, because you really only need one photo for an item to be listed.
It is advisable to use as many of the 24 allowed , but 4 is not the minimum you have to use.
Is it not allowing you to list unless you add 4 photos? Can you just ignore the message and list with less?

Can you add 4 photos just to get your item listed, even if they are duplicated ?
There are current issues concerning adding photos generally, this may be another.

Mentor10 months agoDoes it work if you click on the item then on ' Have One to Sell' or Sell Similar to relist the item. ?
If not as there is a current issue with adding photos to items, and maybe your issue is related I will tag Community manager @kat@ebay who is dealing with this issue and can perhaps add your account to the open ticket with tech , so they can hopefully help out.
Adding 4 photos as a minimum, is not correct definitely a technical glitch / issue!

Mentor10 months agoWhat a mare, I've tagged Community manager @kat@ebay for you , to add your account to the tech ticket, yours needs looking into for this most odd glitch.
As said, other members are not being allowed to add any photos to listings, eBay, we are told are aware of this issue!
