Releasing funds for item sold

Question

Hi there, I recently sold a computer to someone and sent it by courier. He received it and sent me a code. I have tried to put the code in, so I can have the funds released but it says it is the wrong code. Do I need to wait a few days more before the code works? I was talking to the help chat last night for 45 minutes and still no answers.... please help - I need the money! Thank you.

If you mean a collection code that is a 6 digit figure that can be entered on a desktop via View Order Details for the item on your orders list. Without that or without a tracking number on ebay the payment may be held for 14 days.
