Regarding digital sales report
Hello received a digital sales report says I owe a small amount of tax around £10 as I sold just over 30 items but I was only selling to clear out a few old things so I'm definitely not a business seller so do I need to pay and if so how do eBay automatically take the fees or will HMRC contact me so I can explain that I'm not a business seller, I've never had to pay tax so not sure how to if I have to

Mentor6 months agoThe only tax you would normally pay to eBay would be the VAT on the cost of their fees, if any.
I this isn't what it's for, can you provide more information on the tax this sales report says you owe?

Ebay does not work out your tax affairs, they just are obliged to report the figures.

Any money owed, you need to sort with HMRC.
