Refused delivery to Argos
Hi All,
I am a private seller.
I recently sold an item to an address generated by ebay with an Argos delivery code to an Argos Delivery Point for onward delivery to the Buyer. Royal Mail Singed For have notified me that the item was "Incorrectly Addressed" so return to sender. This would have been fine if it had been my mistake of incorrectly generating the address label.
I now have paid a full refund (as directed by ebay) to the Buyer which has cost me the full postal cost.
I investigated the Argos store location in the area only to find that at some time the store location had moved, thus having a new address.
My dissatisfaction about the issue is it is very difficult to reason with ebay about amount of responsibility levied by the Buyer or the ebay/Argos working partnership.
I am interested if any other people have had issues with "Store distribution centres" especially if recipients have not paid for the service or renewed their membership fees.
Look forward to any suggestions.

Mentor5 months agoClick & collect stores do not charge a fee for this.
Many shops, not just Argos accept C&C items, often local convenience stores.
Your buyer may not have known that the store has closed.
You did nothing wrong by sending to address supplied by ebay.
You have refunded, which is good, this is just one of downfalls as a seller.
You could relist for buyer to buy again & they can change delivery address.
