Mentor10 months agoAs far as I am aware you can't return something using Simple Delivery, it's for outbound post only.
Did you open a case through ebay and return it using a label supplied in the case? If you did then attempted delivery counts as delivery if you need ebay to step in.

Mentor10 months agoIn that case if the seller doesn't refund within three days of the attempted delivery, escalate it to ebay.

Mentor10 months agoWhat does tracking say on the carrier site eg Royal Mail etc? If it shows as attempted delivery there then you will need to contact CS who may be able to escalate matters, as tracking on the ebay site is a bit err unpredictable at the moment, in the not everything is updating correctly.

The link above will get you a call back from CS, and I would suggest doing it sooner rather than later as you have a better chance of reaching someone in Dublin.
IF you can prove from the carriers site that delivery has been attempted to customer services, Ebay should escalate for you to refund.
