Refused
Today I was refused a return and refund on a pair of new military boots. The boots were sold as size 9M. It turns out that the boots are actually ladies size 9M but we’re not advertised as such consequently they are too narrow a fit. The seller stated in a private message that he was unaware that the boots were women’s as there was no indication on the exterior of the box and as he failed to open the box to check its contents concedes that he has inadvertently sold me women’s boots in error. On raising a dispute I find that eBay has closed the case as the seller refuses to accept returns. On trying to appeal the decision I find that appeal is not an option as the seller has refused to accept returns. What are the options available to me to have the matter dealt with fairly ?

Mentor6 months agoIf you used "Doesn't fit" as the reason that is classed as change of mind which sellers can refuse. You should have used "Not as described". Anyway contact your payment provider and ask about a refund or chargeback.
