I recently tried to buy a pendant for my mum's birthday which is on the 18th April, a few days after purchasing the seller said they noticed some damage on the item so they cancelled the order, what I'm *bleep* off with is I've got to wait 3 - 5 days to get my money back but has anyone even considered how the bloody hell am I meant to buy something to replace the item when I've only got 4 days left and you have my money/ refund in waiting for 3 - 5.
So it's now looking like between the seller and eBay I'm going to be empty handed on her birthday.. if you guys can take my payment straight away you should be able to bloody refund it at the same speed.
If my refund is not back before the 18th I will never use the sight again.

Mentor3 months agoYou are blaming the wrong people. We are members like you notvebay, and slso nothing to do with ebay.
If seller cancels that automatically starts the refund process. Any delays are down to the seller, and depending on the reason he used to cancel, he gets a defect on his account.

Mentor3 months agoIt's your payment provider to blame for the delay - not eBay or your eBay seller.
Refunds always take time to clear back to their original funding source.
Nothing eBay can do here, it's out of their hands.
