Hi community,
I recently bought an item which in the end did not fit. It arrived After 9 to 10 days, which was btw poorly package. On the sellers description it never had any size descriptions , but I asked if a M was available, He claimed there was. When the product arrived it looked like a small and felt like a small and not as he described. I tried to request a returns form, the seller is saying he does not do refunds. I did not know this!!!! Whats the next steps I should take. I would have took an exchange, i want to take this further.

·2 months agoWhen you buy new clothing (or even pre-owned items), you are best buying from a properly registered business seller.
That way, if the item doesn't fit, isn't what you expected, or is just a bit disappointing, you have the right to return the item, whatever reason you give.
Your seller, with dozens of brand new Zara item for sale and sold, looks very much like a business seller trading from a private account.

Mentor2 months agoOpen a not as described case, sellers cannot refuse this, and they have to provide a return label.
If seller does not respond, then you escslate to ebay who will force a refund, and give seller a damaging defect.
Ebay does put a link to the 30 day money back guarantee, it is worth reading as No returns only applies to change of mind, not faulty or badly described items.
You do not think sellers can send out any old rubbish and rely on No Returns to avoid refunding?

Mentor2 months agoIf it was not described correctly you need to use that reason rather than "doesn't fit", which is classed as "change of mind" that sellers can refuse. As long as you haven't opened a case yet start a return on here:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/buying/returns-refunds/return-item-refund?id=4041
select "Item doesn't match description" and if necessary escalate it to eBay after 3 complete working days.

OP2 months agoI opened a returns request yesterday but I don’t think I described it the way I should have. Im trying to open a case but it’s not allowing me to do so. Keeps saying cant open this case. I’ve never shopped at eBay and don’t thịnk I will ever again because of this.

Mentor2 months agoYou won't be able to open a second case but if you contact ebay they may change the reason for you. You can ring them or request they ring you by viewing this link on your phone - not on a laptop or PC:
