Refunded non received item that arrived next day
Hi
I'm at a loss of what to do.
I posted an item with royal mail signed for and had a case opened regarding a non received item.
It has been nearly two weeks so I refunded the item as lost.
Next day it gets delivered and signed for.
I asked for payment to be resent or the item back.
I had no reply but neutral feedback which I have since got ebay to remove
What's my next move? Ebay have closed the case due to my refund

Mentor3 weeks agoThere is no way for this sort of payment to be made through ebay. If buyer was willing it would have to be through paypal or bank transfer, but does not sound as though buyer sould cooperate, having got a Freebie.
Ebay will not help.

Mentor3 weeks agoI see you are a Private seller are you using Simple Delivery ? Then, for a lost item, a buyer opens a case for item not received, eBay refund the buyer and the seller keeps the payout?
If you refunded yourself , eBay cannot refund you for this.
Now the item has been received any payment must be done outside eBay. Perhaps your buyer does not know how to repay you?
You can send them a PayPal invoice, or advise them they can repay you with a bank transfer or a cheque, which suits you both best, but nothing can be enforced.
If PayPal is used, email addresses need to be exchanged, this can sometimes be found with the order details >> Show Contact Info. If not and you need to ask the seller for this, make it very, very clear in your eBay messages, as eBay do read these, the reason for these exchanges. Make it clear it's not to be used for an off eBay sale.
