REfund payment not received
Summary: lorraine4324 is experiencing a delay in receiving a refund to their credit card from an online marketplace. The refund was supposed to be issued 8 days ago, but they cannot contact the platform due to a closed case. They haven't received any response from the seller and are considering disputing the transaction with their credit card company. tommystrezures suggested that refunds to credit cards can take up to 30 days and advised checking with the credit card company.
A refund that has allegedly been sent to my credit card has not been received 8 days after eBay say it was issued.
I have never had this before, refunds have always been within 1 day max.
eBay phone & other contact details say that refunds can take up to 3-5 days but this is longer than that & I can find no way to mesage or phone eBay because i am in a doom loop which says that the case is closed.
The seller is not responding to any messages.
Has anyone else had this?
Does anyone have any experience of how to talk to a person to resolve it?
Should I just dispute the transaction with the credit card company?

Mentor2 weeks agoWhile ebay may issue the refund within 3 to 5 days it can take 30 days to hit a credit card account.

Mentor2 weeks agoIf a refund is to your credit card, it takes up to 30 days to re appear. Check with the credit card company.
