Refund on item that was damaged by the post office courier during transit
A buyer received my item- antique jugs but have been damaged during transit and she is stating they are damaged beyond repair and wants a refund. Is she entitled to one? Should she make a complaint to eBay? I had bubble wrapped them and put polystyrene round them to protect the items plus marked fragile all around the box so they would be handled with care

Mentor1 month agoNo matter how carefully you think you packaged an item postal / courier services are not known to handle items with kid gloves, and items can arrive damaged.
Was this a Simple Delivery transaction? Ask your buyer to open a case for ' damaged in transit'. eBay will refund the buyer, and you get to keep the payout.
