Refund issued by eBay not received

I am waiting for a refund to appear in my account, it was authorised and actioned by eBay on the 13th Sept and was advised it would take 3-5 working days for me to receive the funds (payment was by Apple Pay)
It is now the 24th and no refund, further context refund was issued by eBay on resolution for a case I raised.
I have tried using the customer help and as it is AI I keep getting laid on a merry go round that my case was resolved in my favour refund issued case is now closed.
Also tried the phone and it is also AI and get the same result case resolved and now closed.
Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated as I feel I’m missing something obvious.

Mentor3 weeks agoYou may need to wait a little longer.
Once eBay notify you the refund is made, being processed, then it's not instantly returned to you, and does go back to original payment source.
If you paid with PayPal it goes back to your PayPal account fairly swiftly.
Paying with a debit / bank card? Can take up to 12 days to appear back in your bank account.
Credit card payment? This takes the longest, up to 30 days to appear back in the card account used.

OP1 week agoOk 20 days have passed and refund has not been paid into account.
I used Apple Pay tied to a debit card.
Is this normal?

Mentor1 week agoNo idea as You say Apple Pay and Debit card. Refunds go back to source, so either goes back to Apple or the Bank Account the Debit Card relates to.
