Refund for unused simple delivery label.
Summary: waltonfox65 has posted about requesting a refund for an unused simple delivery label. However, there is no specific content in the post detailing the issue or further responses.
I sold an item just over 2 weeks ago, using simple delivery. On this occasion the buyers postcode was incorrect. I was unable to print the simple delivery label (so could not use it). I had to use my own label and add tracking myself, the item was delivered to the buyer without any problems, so I need to be refunded £2.70 for the label I did not use. I have made the claim well within the 14 days stated, the same day I tried to print the original label. So far I haven't heard anything or received the refund, so how long is this process supposed to take? Surely a simple refund shouldn't take this long, when it's very clear that the label has not been used?
Any advice would be appreciated, thanks....

OP4 months agoJust to add to the original message. I offered free postage on the item sold, so it was me the seller paying for the postage not the buyer. Just to be clear....
