refund a refund
hello.. i bought an item and seller posted ,my tracking stated we have item at the evri locker ready to collect,2 weeks later tracking stil said at the evri locker, i opened a case item not recieved then seller message me and asked if wanted refund i said yes thank you which i thought seller was going to wait until case was closed but seller refunded right away, now my tracking says item out for delivery today, if item does turn up which i think it will how do i refund the seller? i was thinking if i message seller i could buy something at the price value and obviously seller does not send out, is this something i could do i cant seem to find another way to refund , thank you.

Mentor10 months agoOnce a case is closed that transaction is finished with eBay and any refund that may need making cannot be done through eBay.
If you receive the item, send the seller a message and that you can pay for the item now either through a cheque, PayPal Friends and Family payment or bank transfer, whichever suits you both best.
If PayPal is used, email addresses need to be exchanged, this can sometimes be found with the order details >> Show Contact Info. If not and you need to ask the seller for this, make it very, very clear in your eBay messages, as eBay do read these, the reason for these exchanges. Make it clear it's not to be used for an off eBay sale.
