Refund
I ordered something on the 12th August, I have been informed the item is out of stock and no more stock will be available.
They have said they will refund me in 5-8 working days. I have told them that is not acceptable and that I would be opening an item not received case.
Is that the right thing to do?

Mentor2 weeks agoI'd report the seller for not intending to complete the sale, and would leave appropriate feedback too if they simply didn't cancel as out of stock to refund me, and made me jump through hoops to get my money back.

Mentor2 weeks agoYes, if you are not notified by eBay in a message that the refund is being processed, proceed this way:
Go right of the item purchased, and from More Actions select.... I Have Not Received My Item.
If you are not fully refunded within 3 days, you must escalate the case on day 4 or within 30 days from opening the case, and eBay will step in and force the refund.
Do not close the case early for any excuse or promise the seller may give, and do not forget to escalate.
