Mentor6 days agoPayouts for items are not released immediately to the seller.
If there is no available money in your Payment Summary for the refund, eBay use the back up source you have registered, which is usually your bank account. Once the refund is made, money on hold from the payout, is released to you.

Mentor1 week agoIt is not you receiving the money, it is being held in your name. If you agree to cancel then refund has to be made.
Of course you can refuse to cancel, then when buyer receives item he opens a not as described case, you have to pay for return postage and on receipt refund.
Up to you to judge which works out cheapest for you?
