Refund

Question

Buyer bought item, is now asking for refund, as they say they ordered by mistake, stating they ordered from their mobile so the item photo was not large. Also stated they did not read the item description as they were in a rush, this is the first time I have been asked for a refund in 10 years, and am and concerned it could effect my score.

Have you sent the item and the buyer has opened a returns case using 'ordered by mistake'?If so, and you had no returns on the listing, you can refuse.

So long as you are doing what the buyer requested, why would it affect your account. Ignoring the buyer is how accounts get into trouble.

Have you sent the item out yet? If not, you can safely cancel the order by selecting the 'Buyer asked to cancel' reason, it won't affect your account in any way.
