Refund
I purchased item through eBay, paid via PayPal. Item came but was nothing like what I ordered (significantly not as described) seller agreed wrong item was sent and would replace or refund but I got neither and no more communication so I contacted PayPal to claim. Item is very heavy now PayPal says I have to return the item which I must pay for myself non-refundable or they won't issue item amount refund they say this is the fairest option but I argued it wasn't as described they agree and postage return is near cost of item now even PayPal haven't returned my messages where to now?

Mentor10 months agoYou should have gone to eBay first, there, the seller would need to pay for the return postage if they wanted their item sending back first.
Unfortunately, you went to PP first so you cannot now open an eBay case, as it would look like you are after 2 refunds. You need to follow PayPal's rules and requirements now, if you wish to have a refund for your faulty item.
eBay's 30 day MBG, Money Back Guarantee is written on every listing , I've added a link below to explain their MBG, worth reading as it could save you a lot of time and money when buying on eBay.

Mentor10 months agoHad you opened an eBay return and selected the 'doesn't match description or photos' reason, your seller would have to provide a pre-paid returns label.
Now that you've gone to PayPal you will need to pay for the cost of the return postage by a trackable method.

·10 months agoYou have to pursue this with Paypal,
The first option should always be to open a return through Ebay - they ensure the seller provides a label and pay for the return.
However, once you have turned to Paypal for a refund, you cannot open a case through Ebay.
