I have received a parcel that is not mine. It has my address, no sender address only a reference. Can I find the sellers on EBay using the reference number

Mentor6 months agoIf you have purchased some recent items from eBay, checkout those sellers, they may just have posted to the wrong buyer.
Click on the seller's listings, then down the left sidebar click on Sold. If you find the item there, send that seller a message that you have received their item in error, for them to send you enough money to cover a fully tracked return postage to return the item back to them.
Do not be fobbed off with sending to the correct buyer, it goes back to the seller.
If this is not the case, and no one else in your household knows of this purchase, google Brushing Scam see if that applies here.

Mentor6 months agoUse a laptop / PC with Chrome that seems to work best as apps and mobile browsers don't offer you all options.
Then, on some recent purchases, click on that seller's items, and down the left sidebar click on Sold, see if that item pops up.

Mentor6 months agoNot sure about a reference number, item's have item numbers written above item specifics that's the only number available to you.
It must be one of the last items you purchased if this did come from an eBay seller, as they had your name and address, look at their recent sold items see if you recognise the one you received.
Otherwise is there not a name and address on the back of the parcel for the sender? You can just hand this back to your postie / Post Office as a mis delivered item.
