REF# number on GSP item
Hello. I recieved payment for an item.
I am not certain but I think the packet for the second order although for the same buyer may have been addressed with the first REF# number incorrectly. Will the item still be directed to the buyer if the REF is incorrect? Thankyou

OP6 months agoGood news for me is that the buyer has left feedback that the item has been received so panic over. Perhaps I did address the correct REF# after all or he was contacted via the old order number. But all good now and thank you to those on the community for your advice!

·7 months agoI don't think other members can definitively answer your question.
Logic says, if it is the same buyer, it should be sent to the correct address.
However, the reference number, even though it will match the buyer, won't match the item sold.
Personally, I would 'wait and see'.
If the tracking shows the second item has been delivered, then you don't have an issue.
Otherwise, you may need to contact Ebay.

OP7 months agoThanks for your reply JKLL. That is my concern that if the REF# is no longer valid the item will not be delivered.
