Recieving and empy phone box scam
Evening all, we have a case where the seller sold 3 iphones on the same day.
At least 2 buyers (us included) recieved empy boxes. One of the other buyers left negative feedback, as did we. There's has since disappeared which is odd, but my my question is, can you, or ebay see the weight of the parcel posted in the 'simple delivery' process. I ask, because this would normally prove the box was empty when posted. I'm thinking the simple service is stopping this evidence from being seen and usef to help buyers cases. Our case keeps getting held for 5 days at a time, which means our funds are tied up. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

Mentor6 months agoIn theory ebay can tell what weight was planned for an item but not what was actually used. There have been some thefts by couriers recently so it's not always the seller.

Mentor6 months agoThere are rules about what can be put in feedback. Breaking the rules means ebay will remove the fb on request.
What exactly have you done, have you opened NOT AS DESCRIBED CASE, because if you open NOT RECEIVED cases, you lose as you received something, so if you are still within the 30 days, open a not as described case now. These are the only circumstances in which a second case can be opened.

OP6 months agoThankfully we opened a not as described.
It could be a courier that's taken the phones, but selling 3 well priced phones on the same day, which ware the only listings, then at least 2 of those phones going missing is a bit more than coincidence for me.
