OP2 months agoThank you for the reply. I still did not get a solution. It was NOT about refund. It was WHY did I get notification from eBay saying Royal Mail delivered today ( a month after refund) delivered !! when it DID NOT.Clearly there is poor admin, and was alarming for me.

You're unlikely to get one here. You seem to be under the misapprehension that we can view the transaction or postal records. We can't - we're not eBay, just other users like yourself.
Delivery issues have become one of the biggest risks of buying on eBay. We could write a book about the murky problems with tracking records and delivery photos, and eBay's response to them. Count yourself lucky that you have received a refund - unlike the poor devil this morning whose £10,000 item was allegely delivered to the wrong address with a delivery photo that wasn't even the buyer's home. Yet eBay reportedly closed their claim for a refund. (The buyer was later advised here to contact his payment provider instead.)

OP2 months agoThank you for replying. It is not about the money, it is the fact I was notified nearly a month after to say it was delivered when somewhere in the system there was no quality control, when this was sent out. PLUS NO proof of delivery.

Mentor2 months agoDon't worry, you have received refund, so have not lost anything.
Ebay won't chase you for money.
