Hi, please can somebody help? I’ve received a damage collectible and I don’t know what the protocol is for compensation or refunds. If I go through the eBay option, it just offers me to go down the refund route. And when I contact the seller, they have advised me to sort it myself. Surely there’s something else I can do. Any help would be appreciated thanks

Mentor3 months agoWhat do you want, the only enforceable option is a refund. In a way the seller is correct unless you open a return case in accordance with the 30 day money back guarantee, there is nothing the seller has to do.

Mentor3 months agoThe seller is advising, ' to sort it yourself' ! They're fobbing you off. Listen to them no more !
Follow the advice others have given , ignore any further messages from the seller just go ahead and open that case.
Also, familiarise yourself with eBay's 30 day MBG, Money Back Guarantee, it's written on every listing and on the link below, it can save you a lot of time and money when buying from eBay.

A seller can offer a partial refund rather than you return the item.

·3 months agoAs long as you received it less than 30 days ago, you should open a return case.
Open a return request
To request a return, select the item you want to send back from your recent purchases above, or use the button below. You can also start a return request from your Purchases in My eBay.

Mentor3 months agoIf it was private seller, open damaged in transit case, ebay will refund you.
If business seller, open item not as described case, seller can offer part refund through case or supply postage label to return for full refund.
