receive refund and the item
Summary: kev69y shared an experience where they received a refund for T-shirts that were misdelivered, but then retrieved them from the incorrect address. They are unsure how to address the refund situation without appearing dishonest, as both they and the seller have been refunded. *vyolla* responded by suggesting that the seller's status, whether a business or private seller, might affect the refund process and advised contacting the seller if they are a business.
I bought two T-shirts evri deliver them to the wrong house on the wrong street after complaining to eBay I got refunded and so did the seller after studying the tracking details and the picture I went to the other street found the house knocked on the door and they gave me the T-shirts so now I have the T-shirts and I have been refunded and so as the seller which seems like a great situation but for the amount I paid, I don’t want to be accused of fraud or being dishonest, but I don’t seem to be able to get an answer anywhere on eBay to the situation. Any ideas anybody? Thank you kevin

Mentor3 weeks agoEbay won't be interested and as seller has his money, best to accept the item as a gift.

Mentor3 weeks agoIs the seller a business seller or a private seller?
Only asking because if they're showing as a business seller then they would have funded the refund payment and you can get in touch and ask how to pay them.
If a private seller then eBay will have made the refund, not the seller.
