Re a Purchase of a camera
I purchase a camera outfit for £155.64 the seller the next day send me a massage to cancel due to the camera was damaged. So I did and put reason for canceling order by mistake. The seller refund me then partially and kept £30.30 for VAT Without transaction taken place or VAT invoice produced. I contacted eBay and spoken with an agent and told eBay will request the seller for full refund falling that I was cover by eBay with the buyers protection fee. I also told them that outfit of the camera was advertised to my mind very cheap and I thought maybe was a scam he help me to write a report and told me I will heart in few days I also left a Feedback for the seller which eBay wipe it off. Today I had a message from eBay the close my report. What can I do

Mentor9 months agoAs the transaction did not take place there is no requirement to pay any VAT. Any document created [assuming that the seller is registered for VAT and the buyer not] is not a tax invoice.

Mentor9 months agoI think the VAT should have come from ebay. You need to get back onto ebay about it. You can request a callback on here:
