Purchase problem
I have just purchased a ps5 game , for £38 , after paying , he told me it was already sold , he refunded me £29 . I have contacted eBay , and they say they can't see a problem , as he has refunded me . What can I do now , as £9 is a lot to loose . Thank you in advance .

The seller can only refund what they received, which would not have included and postage you paid to ebay, or any buyer protection fee.
Those amounts come from ebay but only if the seller cancelled the sale properly.
If they didn't, you should still be able to open a case for item not received the day after the expected delivery date ebay gave you when you paid. That should get you the balance, or possibly even the entire £38.

OP5 months agoThe item number is 397564304568 , he has refunded most of it , it just the vat that eBay is keeping , it's £7.01p . How do I get that back please.

Mentor5 months agoIf the seller refunded via a cancellation ebay would have refunded including VAT. Check again here:
