Promised refund to card not received
an item did not arrive- Buyer accepted delivery " lost"- probably not sent as the item was relisted at a lot more money-
Refund promised ion 1 Sept
Now 24 Sept and NO refund made to credit card
E bay web site utterly useless in this instance when you ask them to set in
What can I do now

Mentor2 weeks agoDid eBay confirm a refund was being made?
You may then just need to wait a little longer, as it can take 30 days for a refund to appear back on a credit card.

OP2 weeks agoYES ebay did confirm BUT their web site said 3 -5 days to appear back on card!!

Mentor2 weeks agoYep, like some of their message it truly does not portray the full story!
Refunds go back to original payment source, and all take different times, bank payments can take 5 days, but credit cards take up to 30 days.

Mentor2 weeks agoI doubt that is what it said. They promise to action the refund in 3 to 5 days, it can take up to 30 days to hit a credit card statement.
